The World Health Organization is pointing out that smoking is on the rise in the world as more and more countries develop. The young in these countries are able to afford to buy cigarettes for the first time and are getting addicted.

While smoking is down in many of the developed countries, more and more tobacco companies are finding that the new, unregulated markets are ripe for the seizing. The World Health Organization believes that it is the responsibility of these countries to educate their population about the dangers of smoking.

There are many that are coming forward to explain that one of the reasons why smoking is on the rise in newly developing countries is that these countries do not have the money to throw behind anti-smoking campaigns. They point out that these counties do not have anti-smoking regulations as a very important issue as their countries strive to compete in the world market.

The World health organization is pointing out that there are currently 5.4 million people a year that die from smoking in the world. The Organization believes that this number will grow to 8.3 million within the next twenty years.

The World health Organization believes that that nations of the world should place ban son cigarette ads, and make it illegal to smoke in public buildings. They believe that if this is done worldwide, then 200 million lives san be saved from smoking related deaths by the year 2050.

The World Health Organization believes that the countries that have taken drastic measures in the past against smoking have been able to save countless lives over the last few years. They believe that these countries should be role models for the rest of the world.

TOKIO HOTEL

Forgotten Children lyrics

Just a normal day
Streets turn into graves
Traces have been removed
The search was disapproved
So cold the night
The weak ones lose the fight
Too many of them out there
Noone seems to care

Lost and so alone
Born but never known
Left all on their own
Forgotten children
We'll never hear a name
They carry all the blame
Too young to break the chains
Forgotten children

They see, they feel, believe
Just like we do
They're laughing, and crying
Wanna live here
Like me and you

Eyes without light
Too tired of good-byes
Never felt embraced
And frightened of every face
A life in disguise
Hope forever died

Lost and so alone
Born but never known
Left all on their own
Forgotten children
We'll never hear a name
They carry all the blame
Too young to break the chains
Forgotten children

They see, they feel, believe
Just like we do
The're laughing and crying
Wanna live here
Like me and you

It shouldn't really be that way
It shouldn't really be that way

We see, we feel, believe
Just like you
We're laughing and crying
Wanna live here
We see, we feel, believe
Just like you
We're laughing and crying
Wanna live here
Just like you...

1000 Meere lyrics

Die Straßen leer
Ich dreh mich um
Die Nacht hat mich verloren
Ein kalter Wind
Die Welt erstarrt
Die Sonne ist erfroren
Dein Bild ist sicher
Ich trag’s in mir
Über 1000 Meere
Zurück zu dir
Zurück zu uns
Wir dürfen unseren Glauben nicht verlieren
Vertrau mir

Wir müssen nur noch 1000 Meere weit
Durch 1000 dunkle Jahre ohne zeit
1000 Sterne zieh’n vorbei

1000 Meere weit
1000 Jahre ohne Zeit
Noch 1000 Meere weit
1000 Sterne zieh’n vorbei
Vorbei
Lass dich zu mir treiben
Ich lass mich zu dir treiben

Wir müssen nur noch 1000 Meere weit
Durch 1000 dunkle Jahre ohne zeit
1000 Sterne zieh’n vorbei
Wir müssen nur noch 1000 Meere weit
Noch 1000-mal durch die Unendlichkeit
Dann sind wir frei

Lass dich zu mir treiben
Ich lass mich zu dir treiben
1000 Meere weit...

_P u N k S_
Punk rock music has been around for many years dating back to the mid 70s. Groups identified as being responsible for punk are The Ramones, Sex Pistols, and The Clash. One form of music, alternative rock, is a punk inspired genre. The groups Green Day, and Blink 182 are also punk inspired. EMO is identified as a subculture of punk. Punk music is hard, and fast with political, nihilistic, and anti authoritarian lyrics. Punk rockers have their own unique fashion. Tattoos, piercings, and metal studded or spiked accessories are some elements of punk fashion. The Mohawk is an example of a punk hair style. Many punks dye their hair different colors. Punk rock has been around for many years and isn't going to die out soon. Long live PUNK!

Bold

EMO

EMO is short for emotional, or emotional hardcore (emo core). Another term
used for EMO is "Scene kids". The type of music EMOS listen to is charged with emotional energy. Often artists will scream out the lyrics in order to drive home the songs message. EMO is basically a music inspired, fashion based lifestyle.
Generally EMOS wear thier hair so the bangs (long and fringed) cover one eye
. EMOS will often dye thier hair black, and incorporate other colors into their hair. EMOS like to wear retro trendy t-shirts, and Punk Rock themed t-shirts as well as band t-shirts. Some EMO boys, and girls wear skinny tight black pants with studded belts. EMO girls wear Punk, and Goth inspired dresses, blouses, and accessories. EMO boys and girls wear black eyeliner. Some EMOS will have 2 hoop type piercing in their lower lip also known as "Snake Bites".

GOTHS
Someone who likes the darker side of things. They usually listen to death metal and goth music, such as Dismember and Bauhaus. Marilyn Manson is NOT goth. He's just...weird. Real goths are not depressing and suicidal like the posers you see at Hot Topic. Goths are fun to be around and aren't afraid to laugh at themselves every so often. They don't worship Satan and aren't evil despite what some ignorant people might say. Goths don't all dress alike either. They like to create their own unique style. Goths are also very intelligent and creative. A lot of them are writers and artists. Goths DON'T envy the popular people. They are what they are because it makes them happy. Goths would rather stay who they are and be among the so called "freaks" than be like everyone else and be popular. They understand that there are more important things in life than popularity, and usually succeed in life while the popular ones don't become much of anything.

If someone becomes "goth" because they couldn't get any friends or are depressed and angry all the time, they are most likely a poser.

SKA

Three different types: "Traditional", "2-Tone" and "3rd Wave". Traditional came about in the late 1950s as new dance music straight out of Jamaica. 2-Tone is named such because whites and blacks came together to form ska bands to spread unity in the 1970s. 3rd Wave is when ska hit America in the late 1980s, and added a bit of punk flair.

Also a very flexible style of music, incorporateable into other styles, which is why it's still around today and has such a large and diverse fan base.

CARTOONS

SpongeBob SquarePants

Animated Character

Born: 1999
Birthplace: Burbank, California
Best known as: Goofy and guileless undersea cartoon hero

SpongeBob SquarePants is the absorbent, yellow and porous star of the cable television cartoon series SpongBob SquarePants. The show was created by Stephen Hillenburg and first aired in 1999. Voiced by Tom Kenny, SpongeBob lives in a pineapple under the sea, in an area called Bikini Bottom. His associates include: Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke), a dimwitted starfish and SpongeBob's best friend; Squidward (Rodger Bumpass), a malcontent 6-legged octopus and SpongeBob's co-worker and neighbor; Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown), the owner of the Krusty Krab, where SpongeBob works as a frycook; and Sandy Cheeks (Carolyn Lawrence), a feisty country squirrel who manages to live underwater. The original run of the series was suspended after 60 episodes in 2002, in order to create The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004, with guest stars Alec Baldwin and Scarlett Johansson).

The Simpsons

Animated Characters

Born: 1988
Birthplace: Television
Best known as: Long-running yellow-skinned animated TV family

The Simpsons was a hit from the start and has remained one of the most popular television shows in history (as well as the longest-running prime-time cartoon). The show's weekly cornucopia of guest stars has included the likes of Ringo Starr, Christina Ricci and Stephen Hawking, among many others. Simpson family members include father Homer, a beer-loving safety inspector from the local nuclear power plant; Marge, the sensible mom with a blue beehive hairstyle; Bart, the mischievous fourth-grader whose pride in being an "underachiever" was, at first, controversial; Lisa, the second-grader whose achievements and smarts go largely unnoticed; and Maggie, the speechless, pacifier-loving infant. Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy is an American Grammy Award-nominated alternative rock band from Wilmette, Illinois, formed in 2001. The band consists of Patrick Stump, playing rhythm guitar and singing lead vocals, Joe Trohman as lead guitarist, and backing vocals, Pete Wentz, on the bass guitar, and Andy Hurley as drummer and percussionist.

With Pete Wentz as the band's primary lyricist, and Patrick Stump as the primary composer, Fall Out Boy reached mainstream success with its major label debut, From Under the Cork Tree. Released in 2005, the album won several awards and has achieved double platinum status after selling more than 2.5 million albums in the United States alone.

Fall Out Boy was formed by Joseph Mark Trohman and Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz III. After playing in various hardcore punk bands in the Chicago area, they wanted to play songs they listened to growing up such as Green Day and Descendents. Trohman met high school student Patrick Martin Stumph in a Borders book store. Trohman introduced himself to Stump when he overheard him talking about the band Neurosis, in which they shared a mutual interest. Stump auditioned as a drummer, but as soon as his vocal range was discovered, he became the lead singer.

The band was nameless for their first two shows. At the end of their second show, they asked the audience to give them a name. One audience member suggested "Fallout Boy", a reference to the sidekick of the character Radioactive Man from The Simpsons. On 25th of January 2009, Fall Out Boy would play the theme ending on The Simpsons.

Two other Chicago musicians, T.J. "Raccine" Kunasch and Mike Pareskuwicz, were recruited to play drums and guitar. The following year, the band debuted with a self-released demo and followed it up with the May 28, 2002 release of Split EP, which featured Project Rocket, on Uprising Records. The group released a mini-LP, Fall Out Boy's Evening Out with Your Girlfriend, also on Uprising Records, in 2003.

After the release of their mini-album, Andrew John Hurley, formerly of Racetraitor, joined the band and Stump picked up guitar, while Raccine and Pareskuwicz left. During this time, they played many local shows at the The Knights of Columbus Hall in Arlington Heights, Illinois, the site of their "Dead On Arrival" video. The same year, after signing to Fueled by Ramen, they released their first full-length album, Take This to Your Grave, on May 6, 2003. The band received an advance from Island Records to record its proper debut, but the advance came with a right of first refusal for Island on Fall Out Boy's next album. With major financing in place, the band recorded Take This to Your Grave at the Butch Vig-owned Smart Studios in Madison, Wisconsin, with Sean O'Keefe as producer.

With singles "Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy," and "Saturday" receiving video airplay on FUSE, mtvU and Target's in-store video stream and radio airplay on mainstream stations across the country, the album sold very well and eventually achieved Gold status, but only after the success of the band's next album, From Under the Cork Tree.

In mid-2003, the band signed with Island Records which is a part of the mainstream label Island Def Jam Music Group, along with Def Jam Records. This was after it picked up the option for its next album. In the meantime of recording its mainstream debut, the band released the acoustic EP My Heart Will Always Be the B-Side to My Tongue on Fueled by Ramen, May 18, 2004. It debuted at #153 on the Billboard 200, the band's first such entry on the chart. The two-disc set included more acoustic performances and a fan photo gallery.

With Pete Wentz as the band's primary lyricist, and Patrick Stump the primary composer, Fall Out Boy reached mainstream success with its first major label album on May 3, 2005, From Under the Cork Tree, which debuted on the Billboard 200 at #9, selling over 68,000 copies in its first week. The album achieved double platinum status after selling more than 2.5 million albums in the United States alone. Earlier that year, the band's stability was threatened when Wentz overdosed on the sedative Ativan. The track "7 Minutes in Heaven (Atavan Halen)" from their album From Under the Cork Tree is based upon Wentz's experience.

Their first single, "Sugar, We're Goin Down", peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, #6 on the Pop 100, and #3 on the Modern Rock Charts. The video reached #1 on MTV's TRL, where it was retired on August 26, 2005. The video won the MTV2 Award at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards, prompting a huge new interest and surge in sales. The band was also nominated for "Best New Artist" at the 2006 Grammy Awards.

The second single off the album, "Dance, Dance", became their second Top 10 Single when it peaked at #9 on the Hot 100. It reached #6 on the Pop 100, becoming the band's highest charting single when it reached #2 on the Modern Rock Charts. The video for the song premiered on TRL on October 11, 2005; it soon reached #1 and was later retired on January 17, 2006. "Dance, Dance" was also featured on the PlayStation 2 version of Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova by Konami. The third single off the album, "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More "Touch Me"", was much less popular than both prior singles, but still managed to peak at #65 on the Hot 100 and hit #1 twice on TRL, retiring on June 6, 2006.

The band headlined the Nintendo Fusion Tour in the fall of 2005, joining The Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack, Boys Night Out, and Panic at the Disco on a 31 city tour.Due to its increased success from their MTV Video Music Award, the group headlined the Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour, a pop/punk event that featured The All-American Rejects, Well-Known Secret, Hawthorne Heights, and From First to Last. The tour also featured The Hush Sound for half of the tour and October Fall for half. They played to 53 dates in the US, Canada, and the UK.

A CD and DVD of live material recorded during a June 22, 2007, concert at Phoenix's Cricket Wireless Pavilion was released on April 1, 2008. Of note, the album, simply called ****, contains a new studio recording covering Michael Jackson's "Beat It" with John Mayer as a guest on guitar. The song premiered for the first time on Wentz's site Friends or Enemies, and was released as a single on March 25, 2008. Following its release, it debuted at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at #19.

On March 18, it was revealed that Fall Out Boy had plans to play a show in Antarctica to go into the Guinness Book of World Records as the only band to play a concert on all seven continents in less than nine months; however weather conditions did not permit them to play in Antarctica.

Fall Out Boy collaborated with rapper T.I. for the album Paper Trail on a track entitled "Out in the Cold". However the song was left out of the final cut. T.I. told MTV that he may add some of the cut tracks to his next album.
